Wool is the heart and soul of my stash. I started out purchasing a variety of colors or buying it on sale. Now I’m a little more disciplined and tend to purchase fiber for specific projects. But who doesn’t love a good sale?

DHG / Dyeing House Gallery – I’m a huge fan of DHG wool mainly because their colors are reliably consistent compared to other brands. I use their Extra Fine Merino (Combed) Wool Tops, Extra Fine Carded Merino batts, Carded Maori Wool, PreFelt, and Sarafina FUR tops. I’ve linked those here for reference. That said, I order from the US suppliers (listed below) to save on shipping.
Felted Sky – I love their Felter’s Palette carded wool and their Rainbow Scrap Bag can be fun. It’s like giving yourself a present.
Big Sky Fiber Arts – Carded Merino (some of it is DHG), Merino Roving (also some DHG) and Carded New Zealand Wool
Sarafina Fiber Art – Off-White Chunky Core Wool my current favorite core, DHG Merino (Combed) Top, FUR (collaboration with DHG) Top, House Carded, Locks (I lean toward undyed) and DHG Prefelt. I’ve purchased wool and fiber from Sarafina since I began felting. I have never been disappointed in anything I received from them.
A Child’s Dream – I recently purchased a range of colors of Ashford Corriedale Wool Roving from them. It’s lovely and the colors are so vibrant!
Desert Breeze Distributing – Extra Fine Merino (Combed) Wool Tops (DHG), Extra Fine Carded Merino (DHG), Carded Maori Wool (DHG), Corriedale Wool Roving (DHG)
Weir Crafts – 100% Wool Felt Sheets and DollyMo Yarn
Feltrite Fibers – Carded Maori Wool Batt (DHG)
Grey Fox Felting – Core Wool Batting and Blended Wool Roving
Felting Farmer Lady – Natural (undyed) Wool Locks and Alpaca Locks. Her locks are gorgeous!
Hearthside Fibers – Plant Based Fiber Top
The Woolen Wagon – Alpaca Locks
The Woolery – Extra Fine Merino (Combed) Top and Corriedale Top
Living Felt – Short Fiber Merino Batts (I suspect this is DHG), Merino (Combed) Top (also suspect this is DHG), and Wool Felt Sheet
